    If you took possesion of your rifle after you received your license you have to log it in.

      I'd log it, better safe than sorry. YOu could argue that you DROSed it before the license was issued, and that you may have physically picked it up before the mail was delivered. Or, was the license issued before you DROSed it and mailed a couple days later, or was it issued and mailed during the waiting period. In any case, why worry about it and just log it in.

          I am proud to say that my license came in the mail this weekend. I went throught a lot to get it and now I have it. I am thinking about an M1 Garand anyone have any other ideas?

            Congrats! The Garand would be a great first choice! A few others would be: SVT-40, Russian SKS, M1 Carbine, Mosin M44.....the choices are endless. I would get the semi-autos first due to any impending legislation in the next few years.
