This is not the first time the Ca. Govt has effectively removed our rights or outlawed something de facto by an administrative or clerical shortfall. Whether or not it is intentional is beside the point.

Has anyone received any feedback yet from DOJ in to why you cant use your COE when doing a PPT? Im curious to hear what their reasoning for taking away this use of the COE.

I would like to know why all of the money I have donated to the CGF is not being used to sue these clowns who are taking our rights away illegally? Anyone? Add this to the other COE denial up at the top of the forum and you have a state agency that is breaking the law, repeatedly. Who is going to be the Ed Peruta for stopping this from happening?

I don't have the funds or time but somebody has to.

I submitted the issue to the CGF DOJ watch, but no response at all.

Will anyone from the CGF respond to this thread and let us know what the plan of action is? This is ridiculous, we are losing rights just because we are letting these tyrants get away with it. Guess maybe we need to approach the NRA ILA, SAF and CRPA? Anyone else who might help us instigate a lawsuit about what these idiots are doing?

Another example of law abiding citizens being hassled by a system that is
slowly eroding our rights. Hope this can be fixed. Pete

It's a California thing. And no, overall, it can not be 'fixed'. Something else will pop up to replace it. Get used to it.

It cannot be fixed, we play Whack a Mole with the stupid politicians and agencies here but we can Whack this one with a hammer (lawsuit) because it is so flagrantly illegal.

                        Probably not.

I once asked Brandon where the concerns of the C&R 03 FFL holder were for his outfit CalFFL; we were on the bottom of his list. Sad thing is that he too holds a C&R 03 FFL.
                        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

CGF is aware of the issue. This and the 1 in 30 day wait exemption. See thread in FFL forum or 2A political activism.
You think you know, but you have no idea.

Thanks for the heads up MorrCarr67n and Lorax. So the question is, if the CGF is too stretched to do anything about this, who can do something about it? I can't see just sitting idly by while the state tramples what is left of our rights.

I'm afraid that the state is dividing the FFls and picking off folks with 03's first, and when out rights are cut in half or gone then they will go after the 01's. It looks to me that they are going after the low hanging fruit figuring that 03's don't have the money of ability to defend their rights. Its a shame that we are at the bottom of the list, I wish we were higher priority. I thought that this one could be a easier fix figuring that it was a rule that was not law by the legislature but a done out of the office of the DOJ.
This thread needs to be kept alive and hopefully others will sound off regarding COE's and FFL's.
