So what's your plan for 2014?

    Not necessary in this order:

    Get my COE

Re-store my sporterized M1903a3 Remington back to milspecs:

Buy a Garand (prob from CMP)

    After that who knows....

I have 3 Garands that need to be stripped, cleaned, lubed and taken to the range to check out. That should take me most of the year. No point rushing into these things!

I'd like to finally get my C&R license. I need to look into the process and understand what the COE is I guess.

I'd like to eventually see how my rifles print on paper

Otherwise, I have a Finn Mosin to restore, I'd like to get bayos, and just buy ammo

            +1

2014 will be buy more period collector's ammo to fill some big gaps in the collection, before any asinine ammo bills get introduced.

During the past couple years due to that attempted nonsense, I've bought collector's ammo for firearms I don't even own yet but anticipate to own in the foreseeable future.

I have three stocks that I want to restore back to original specs. Next up is to take possession of my COE, I've only been waiting around 6 months.

Learn how to and start reloading ammo for my C&R's is at the top of my list.

I'd like to do some long distance shooting next year with some of my more accurate C&R's (scoped PU, scoped MAS-49, K-31/Mausers, etc.)

And of course add to my collection. Ever since I saw Beetle Bailey's BEAUTIFUL Argentinian Mauser I've been keeping my eye out

Reload more. Shoot more. Send one of my garands off to DGR. Reload more. Shoot more. Pay off this year's purchases. Reload more. Shoot more.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Shoot more, more ammo and get a couple accessories I've been hunting for a while.

Get my COE. I have a sporterized No4 MK1 that need a stock replaced, a K98 in need of stock repair, 1871/84 needs a couple of hard to find parts, start reloading 11mm Mauser ammo, and buy a Dillon Progressive.

I also plan to wear out my shoulder from recoil by hitting the range at least once a month.

Then, buy accessories and pistols until the laws change...

yep, got a couple carcanos I need to get into shape, a lot of reloading and load development, then perhaps finally get to work on the mosin sporter project. no real design on buying any more rifles, but that's been known to change. don't like the thought of registration and that may be enough to hold me off for a while. besides, I've got plenty of rifles.
