Mostly a two but, with only a couple of exceptions, I shoot them all a lot. I rotate through different rifles every month in our Vintage Silhouette match. The only rifles I don't shoot are my 1941 Johnson because of its value and my Arisaka because its a wreck

2, 5, and 7. I like them all, I want one of each, but I also feel bad when I let one sit in the safe for too long.Last edited by paratroop; 11-05-2013, 2:03 PM.Originally posted by Marcus von W.Is that banjo music I hear?
"Sporter" is what the drooling toothless inbred albino with the hacksaw thinks his newly created "dear riffel" is.
"Bubba" is what he and his ugly and ruined rifle really are.
First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.
Next thing you know, you think "Deliverance" is a love story.Comment

No. 2 except for my G43 and a C96. I can't bring myself to spring for Apfeltor's shooters kit or a Broomcloset/Redman inspection, so haven't shot either. Everything else gets shot. No safe queens allowed.YOU NEED A GUN TRUST.

I don't quite see my profile. Profile 6 is generally where I fall - I'm a collector that concentrates on 1 or 2 models (in my case 1911s and early automatics) and wants one of every variant. However, like profile #1 I also care about the details of collectability, however I want the highest condition example possible.Comment

I guess I would have to be a #8 and#9
8. a collector who buys everything they see that they don't have and can hide from the wife. shoots them all if safe and ammo is available but some more than others depending on cost and fun factor.
9, collector who already has more than he will ever need but still buys and hunts for anything new. Must admit he has a problem.Comment

I can't figure it out myself.
Some rifles I would not mind having more than one of. Others I am good with one. I do prefer variety, but also like "deals" as I see them. I care about accuracy AND rarity and collect-ability, and wear, but I won't buy anything I can't or won't shoot.
I guess I'm not 5&6, but accuracy and condition and rarity etc are all important to me.Comment

Number 2. One thing I try to do is pick out a rifle for range time and then also bring my .22lr. I split the time to save a little bit on ammo.Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!
The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)Comment

8) Someone who knows that a firearm doesn't need to be a rifle to be a C&R
9) Someone who knows it doesn't need to be military surplus to be C&R
10) Someone who knows that it's hard to find the craftsmanship that older guns seem to haveYes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
