They won't run out in our lifetime. There are tons and tons of Garands in arsenals around the world. They are in every gun store, pretty much. Garands are fine rifles, but very common. I thought the Martini Henry's were long gone until they found a cashe of them in Nepal.

Yeah, I passed on one to get a Mosin (cheaper ammo). And then suddenly the K31s dried up a Big 5. Now they are $300 rifles.
