yeah a huge CF and thousands of dollars down the hole. I think if somewhere was going to do this again....It would be best just to grab the whole crate, bring back to SD then just post it on the WTS thread and I guarantee you people will jump on it. That way don't have to worry about people flaking out and such.

Yeah its pretty long Noonanda. To sum it up shortly, basically sales tax, un-foreseen fees/expenses and members who Flaked out caused the OP to go about 3,000$ in the red and come out of his own pocket. I know he bought some ammo as well...and it just turned out to be a huge CF.

That being said, if you guys really wanted to do this I would suggest the money be upfront and collected before the order is even in placed. That way all the money can be covered and can avoid the CF. Plus add all the taxes, shipping, etc...which I dunno if it would be worth it for a mosin.

You guys seem to be very knowledgeable about Mosins. I just bought a couple. I would like to get a scope put on one of them. Nothing to crazy expensive. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Which mount I should buy? I am assuming I will need a gunsmith to attach the mount. Any advice would be appreciated. I can't seem to find allot of detailed information.
