I will let you know the .302" neck reamer just showed up today. .308" and .309" bullets were ordered today. Going to run some SP's and HP's and some FMJ's. I must say the stuff on stripper is accurate and flat shooting to 100 meters. Can't find the picture and target but I will at some point. I plan to use 7.63 mauser data and I would like to use Bullseye but that will be down around 3g. on a 85g~90g bullet. For my .357 158g bullets I'm using 2.2g for targets at 25M. I hope to get the girls off my revolver and on to the M57 Tok's so I can have my S&W back.

Some mental midget decided that for the pistol to be imported, it had to have a trigger blocking safety, so they were added on. The Romanian TT safety is installed by the factory, and actually works without malfunctions.
There are some Russian TT-33's that were imported before they started the safety BS that didn't get the add on thumb safety. They bring the big bucks on the auctions.
The gun will function fine without it, some remove it, weld up the frame holes, and refinish the gun.
I was going to say, the half-cock position seems plenty safe. The trigger is locked tight. On my Romanian it is, anyway.

The half cock is bombproof on a TT-33.

Fedor designed it without a safety for a reason. The half cock setting of the hammer will never accidentally disengage. He was actually asked about it once and his humorous reply was along the lines of "Ees not safe, ees gun."

We had two TT33's and a PPSH 43 in our arms locker but very little ammo. I used them to shoot rats behind the mess hall till the ammo was gone. The carbine was twice as loud as the TT as I recall.
