MJ1, once again your collection amazes me. What kind of brass are you using for the tokarev?

LC 07 5.56mm and I know some companies make it but the quality of the military Lake City brass is very good. I just like being in control of small things like this.

there was a sleeve issued that slipped over the top of the magazine and held the charger/stripper clip while you thumb the rounds into the magazine. I have never seen one inperson just a photo of it.

They were made for a Czech sub machine gun, the Sa.26. The mag held 32rnds, that's why there's 8 on a stripper clip. The Tok is a single stack, a stripper clip would never work.
Here's a video of how they were loaded, check out the fixture on the gun that holds the clip. Loading starts at 1:10.

Don't rub it in because it's very possible you do. I may have an M24 with a stepped barrel.

MJ, I bet you saw the same adapter I saw while researching a 7.62x25 AR upper. It was a modified AR adapter, and I can't recall who was making them. They were for the PPsh-43 stick mag, worked to fit the AR mag well.
I like your .223 to 7.62 Tok case idea, cheap supply of brass! How many reloads do you get from a case? Is it any better or worse than S&B brass?
