Paul, please refrain from swearing (seriously, it's somewhat pointless to swear with Calgunners, we can out-swear you ).

The shoot is at the Yolo Shooting Range, May 26th, starting at 8:00 AM.
Bring anything C&R (Or anything else I guess, but ask Dr.Mauser about that, he's the one in charge of this, but he probably wouldn't mind one would think. The more things that go boom the merrier)

FYI everybody, I emailed them, and they said this:
"We do have covered range and yes you may bring a canopy or umberella as long as it doesn't interfere with anyone else on the line or the range of shooting.

Our range faces the east so the sun doesn't hit to bad at any time"

So, if you got a canopy, bring the canopy people! We are gonna need all the shade we can get, it's gonna be a hot one!

It's only $9 believe it or not, for the rifle and pistol range! That includes two targets btw.

You need to bring a chamber flag for each firearm, or buy them there ($0.50 each, and the money goes to the youth shooting team. I'll be buying mine there since I have none)

Paul, they give each shooter 2 targets with the fee, you can bring your own too. I usually bring some black tape and masking tape to cover holes.
Lots of sandbags, but they get scarce when there's lots of shooters. Benches are concrete, some have carpet on top. Concrete, bare elbows, and recoil, will leave ya wishing you remembered to bring something to lay on top.

Bruce, plenty of shade on the firing line, big covered patio with a couple of picnic tables on the end of the clubhouse. Backstop berm and divider berms have trees growing on them for shade and wind breaks too.
Couple of soda machines, and a snack machine. Closest food is Davis or Dixon.

I learned to swear in the Navy, myself. Took quite a few years to remove most of it in normal mixed conversation. Behind the wheel, all bets are off. (except when Wifey's in the car, then She does the swearing for me... )

Is there any prone shooting allowed?

I'm coming from Carmichael and picking up one other shooter. I guess there's room for one more in the old pickup.
I was planning on bringing our 98k and a couple of guns we haven't fired yet, M48 and VZ52. I have lots of surplus 8MM Mauser ammo if anybody needs some. It's corrosive though.
If there's a gun in my sig somebody would like me to bring, let me know. Most are here, a few are in Anchorage with my son.

I'd suggest something nice and full, maybe Guinness Dark Lager. It would theoretically compliment a day of shooting very, very well
