What did the Russians use to clean there rifles during the war? Hot water? LMAOROFL.

Ever wondered why the soviet oil bottle has two chambers? One chamber is for oil (that's the "H" side), and the other side is for "caustic" or sodium hydroxide in oil. The lye was to neutralize the salts which were nitric acid left over from fulminate primers.
