I have been looking for one in good condition for the past year at a reasonable price the best price i found was at a gun show for $200 but at the time i was tapped out money wise. I will end up paying more than that eventually once i find one to my liking. As far as the value i dont know how far it will go my guess in the upper 400's. Once i own any rifle its worthless valuable when u have just not when i do (for resale). This is why i never sell any of my C&R rifles.

I'd say the opposite; the 1911/K11 is smoother than the K31 for me. The K31 seems to need a stronger tug to unlock than the K11. The K31 is a stronger action although the 1911 action is more than stout enough for the GP11 round. The K31 action is stiffer and the rifle is set up better than the K11 for accuracy but the K31 stock is a little more clubby than the K11. Both have their positive points.

Swiss Militaria

I have some other period militaria to go with my K31. Tunic, cap, blanket, and rucksack. I wear the tunic to school most every day it's cool enough and have worn the cap to the bus stop on cold mornings. I use the rucksack while hiking or hunting. I use a similar one which doesn't hold the karabiner for school. They are remarkably comfortable and have a basic internal frame. The flat leather harness also doesn't get in the way of mounting the weapon to the shoulder. Also I put in a contemporary picture of the full kit.

its also easy to tell why so many of the stocks got all beat up the way they were stowed. i've sent that bottom pic to a few people who've asked me "why are k31 stocks always so beaver chewed?"

The rifles were stuck in the snow butt down during the winter while in the field which accounts for the finish being washed off at the butt. The butts are chewed up from being used as a solid point to knock the snow/mud accumilation off of the hobnail boots worn by the Swiss soldiers.
