    k31's

a have 7 or 8 of them, all bought 3 years ago when i had my C&R. i pay'd less than $100 for all of them except for 1, i think it was around $115. im probably averaged in at around $85-90, i just tried looking for them and was surprised to see them for no less than $250. just wondering how much more these have to climb in your opinions. i might consider selling off a couple to finance something on my list.

$500 for a nice example isn't out of the question in a couple of years. The K31s are following the same trajectory as the Swedish mausers.

I got mine for $200 last year and Havn't seen any for that price. I only have one. Wouldn't mind getting a 2nd one. But I don't want to spend a butt load of money on it.

I've been looking for a nice K-31 and haven't found any besides classic arms. If I am still waiting on my type 03, but if I had that you'd have a sale here!

loads of good ones on gunbroker, be patient young grasshoppa and all will be made worth it when you get the C&R. I got my first k31 off a dude in FL, absolutely mint.

I paid $300 and $330 respectively for my two, but they're both nearly perfect, they look like new guns and dont have that "beaver-chewed" look that many of the stocks have.

These should be worth lots, they're awesome rifles.

and then a not so good one to round out the list:

and it looks like J&G just slashed their prices:

but then again, those pics dont look really nice...

I paid around $250 for mine last year and, now that I've shot it, I don't have a problem paying $350 for shooter grade ones.

FGS has a few...some "high-end" stuff, too (snipers, etc)

And Simpson has a bunch at various price points...

Prices have gone up...especially with #'s matching bayonets or sniper builds. The supply has just about dried up and the K31's that are left are all pretty much in the States already.

If you want one, get one! They're great shooters and crazy accurate...Stuart Mowbray says it's probably the finest military bolt action rifle ever made.

I just ordered a walnut stock K31 from J&G last week for $219. I will try to post some pictures as soon as I receive mine.

Here is a picture of mine, Its the bottom rifle if you didn't no and for those of you will ask what the others are. The top one is my sisters .22 Cricket and below it is my .30-30 Marlin. Then the bottom one is the K-31.

Its kinda beat up but it shoots amazing. I hit a target at 400 yards with it. No scope. I was amazed. Also I'd say there one of the most accurate rifles out there! Just my opionion of coarse.

now that ammunition is much easier to get, the demand went up. Back when they were $100, the ammo wasn't cheap.

FWIW the stock on the first listing has been heavily sanded, the second one sanded but not as much as the first. Don't confuse sanded stocks with gently used stocks. When the buttplate stands proud of the wood it is an easy giveaway.

I can't see them getting much higher than $300-350. The Swedish Mausers also had a steep increase in price over a couple years and then have pretty much settled out in price.

The J&G is tempting to get a bayo but I've got 2 K31s and that is probably already 1 too many.

The bayonet that goes with it is worth more than the rifle in some cases.
