I am so happy I bought my M1's several years ago when the wait time was 2-3 months. I got my Springfield service grade in 2 months and then a year later I got a field grade for my daughter in just under 3 months. I won't even mention the ammo sales.

ya, the garand is something else..

but I remember buying 500 rds of .40S&W American Eagle for 98$ shipped
same stuff is about 180$ shipped now.

WOOHOO! Good news! Just got home, got an e-mail saying they tried running my card and they need me to call back and give them a valid number, (ive replaced the card since ordering) SO, I am calling them tomorrow morning 6 am, I am estimating 1-2 weeks for my GARAND! SUUHHHWEEETT!!!!!

actually, they might be just sending you ammo first.. haha thats what they did for me unless they got your xxx grade garand already

That would suck! I really hope its ammo and garand... its a HRA service grade garand and 192 rounds of ammo. I pray they come together, I really wanna shoot this thing

They won't be shipped together, though you may get the Garand soon based on what I've heard on the CMP forum. I got my ammo middle of April, still waiting for the SA SG Garand (both ordered 1/26).

YES! Just called, woke up before my alarm clock I was so stoked! Haha. They are processing it, and it will be three weeks till i get it. Not only that, it s the ammo and the GARAND!!!!!!! Finally! Wait is over , very nice sounding girls over at the CMP too.

Great on your Garand finally coming! I am very happy I ordered mine back in 2004 I got a SA for $425 and it only took about two weeks to get it. You will enjoy yours for sure.

My ammo that I ordered on 2-26-09 is on the way - about 90 days from order to ship.

Heh, all you guys are moaning about the wait time, but I'm using it kind of like a forced savings plan. I know I have 3-4 months before my SA ships and it will make me to find the cash! I've never even shot a Garand before but I figured I should get one now before Obama realizes he's selling citizens "high power semiautomatic rifles."

I did something similar. The wait allowed me to set aside the money for the rifles assuming that I had 2 months to pay for them (to be conservative).

I'm guessing it should be any day now because I sent in my order about a month ago (1 May). I'll let you guys know when they hit me with the DBU...

According to the CMP, it shipped today via FedEx.
