    CMP Current Wait times

I'm placing an order to CMP today and I was curious about the current wait times. The thing that concerns me is that the card I'm using expires in September...

Think they'll be able to fill my order by then given the current situation?

I sent my order in at the end of February, and received the DBU email in the middle of April. It informed me that the rifle + ammo would ship in 90-120 days. I think your worst case scenario is probably 170 days.

I ordered some ammo back in the end of December and got it the beginning of April. I think it was about 75 days.

        That's not too bad...

I just don't want my card to expire before they run it. Hopefully, they'll be able to submit it before Sept 30th...

They should have the order by Tuesday of next week...

If your CC does expire before the CMP gets to it, they will most likely just send you an e-mail requesting another. I've never heard of them canceling an order for that sort of thing.

The wait is long, but worth it.

If they cannot run your card, they will contact you for an update to your info. You might want to just include a post-it note with your order saying you hope they get to your order before the card expires but if not to call you at (work/home/cel) for upated info.

They won't cancel your order. So if you've already sent the order in, I wouldn't stress. They will contact you if needed.

if you renew your CC then the numbers should be the same. it "should" go through like any other transaction you did with that card. unless you report it stolen or lost the CCnumber stays the same. although i don't think the 3 numbers on the back stay the same though.

I had that happen to me, they call you right away when they can't charge your card. You can just give them a new number, it won't delay your order.

I sent my order for an Inland service grade in on 3/15. Today I received my DBU stating order received 3/23 with a minimum ship time of 60-90 days after receipt.

                          I can't wait!

Can you add rifles to your submitted offer? I wanted to add a 1903 to my order! Hopefully, the CFO of the house doesn't catch that...

That question has been asked on the CMP forum, and the answer has always been: "Submit a new order".
