So this is day 62. I guess I better call and throw some wood on that fire. If I have to wait another 35 days all I have to say is "I should have done this long ago."

Well, still waiting. Received on 2/13, first response indicated that they had 60 days from receipt to approve or deny, but that date passed the middle of this month. My last inquiry referred me to Yvette, but I haven't made contact as I was hoping it would show up within the last couple of weeks.

I suppose it is time to reach out and talk to them and see what the status is, as I don't really want to find out that it is the squeeky wheel that is attended to. I'm sure they are swamped, but it is their rules of engagement stating the timeline, and it has long since passed.

Has anyone else that submitted theirs in February recently receive theirs?

Just got a call from West Virginia and about jumped out of my chair. Yvette calling to tell me that she has approved my license as of today and it will mail Monday!!! The squeeky wheel got the grease.

Not sure how it happened so fast, but I just received my C&R FFL in the mail today. That would make 16 days from receipt of application via USPS (4/13)! Thank you all again for the great insight into this process.

I would recommend emailing too. I got a call from Yvette the day after I emailed. Look for the address in the posts above.

I placed calls Monday and Wednesday, and finally got a voicemail today letting me know that she is working on the background check.

They're definitely behind schedule... Not sure if my calls got it moving or not, but I hope they get finished up soon as I'm missing some deals and the end of the year is getting closer by the day.

Also really could have used the discount with all the stuff I've bought recently.

Tomorrow is 3 months out from the day I mailed my app. I called and left a message twice last week and sent two emails.

Next step, I am calling and emailing everyday until I hear something.

I am right there with you! I called and they said I am still undergoing the FBI background check.

My FFL packet is at my office. If I remember I can give you a name & # to call at the ATF. They are surprisingly pleasant to deal with over the phone.
