C&R FFL Application Form ATF 7CR - use the official BATFE PDF form!

Still waiting for my FFL03. Filed the forms and check cashed in December. Have lived in same location for past 10 years and haven't even had a traffic ticket before. I called, but the same answer...pending. Oh well, I can't even remember why I wasted my $30 for this now!

Just off the telephone with BATF. They said they sent my packets to me on April 7th. They then confrimed the correct address for me, but I never received it. I asked if there was a second packet sent as well. They said it was sent from the distribution center and I would need to contact them.

Can anyone tell me how big the second packet is and what it looks like? I get like three or four piecies of mail per day not counting catalogs. I don't see how I could have missed both mailings...especially since I have been looking for it each day!

My large packet showed up a couple of months after my license. It's a big, thick manilla envelope with the laws and a CD.

i sent my form 7CR in the beginning of february using regular first class mail. My card was charged on 2/7. haven't received anything else yet. i'll keep you posted in here.

Blow me down. I received both my license and packet today! The license was in my mail box and the packet was on my door step. It didn't fit in my mail box.

It took just over 4 months from my sending in my application and check and BATF receiving it and cashing my check in December 2010.

YES -

1) This is normal.
2) You will get it. The time frame seems to be between 6 and 18 weeks.

The BATFE seemed to be better last year about getting packages out. This year (with more controversy in the agency, and a new administrator being sought) they seem to be taking longer.

5 weeks from mailing out to receiving my license, I guess I got really lucky, just waiting on my COE now. I need a nice SKS, any suggestions on where to look?

Man these guys must really want their money... I sent a request online for the C&R FFL Application Tuesday night at 11ish pm. I got it yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. Never seen a government agency reply to a request that fast.
