      Thanks again everyone for the input. I absolutely plan to shoot this gun regularly,however, if this gun is gonna get any marks on it, I want it to be from me lol.

      Musketjon, thanks for the heads up, and you’re right I don’t know all the inner workings of an SAA. This is my first SAA of any type, and I’ve just been trying to learn as much as possible. Everything I’ve read or seen in videos always talks about fully cocking the hammer back before easing it down.
