FFL03 approval time frame?

Obviously they do not process in order received or something else delays some and not others. I'm still waiting coming up on two months.

Agreed as I also sent mine in prior to his date and still nothing.

Sent mine in around 11/22, fudged paperwork and it was sent back on the 15th of December. Sent in corrections on 1/09/18 after my return from vacation and I am still waiting. Called them about the status, and they said they are waiting for my check to clear as they had to send it to Alabama to have it processed. It's unfortunate but I guess this is what I get for failing to follow instructions.

I looked mine over several times and after sending realized I had mistakenly initialized the box for having a safe, this didn't apply for C&R, was supposed to mark it NA. I never got a letter about correcting it so hopefully they overlook it. My lesson will be to have someone else check my work on any
future applications. Easy to miss things.

Doh, now that you mention it and relooking at form I did the same thing. O well we shall see what happens I guess. I suspect that it should have already been returned but who knows.

Look up ATF licensing center on Google. It will provide you a link that says "licensing and other services." Then call the number for the federal firearms licensing center that they have listed. They may be closed now since they are located in West Virginia.

Well the good thing about people using cc or checks to pay, at least you know your app got there and when since they seem to charge you as soon as it arrives.

re: Initialing the box about the safe instead of N/A

I mailed my app on the Jan 25th and my check was cashed yesterday, so I call this morning about initialing the box about the safe in section 20 instead of putting "N/A". The nice lady that I talked to said that it should not be a problem, but put me in touch with the "California Examiner" for confirmation. I left that person, Sarah, a message and will report back when/if I get a response.

So just got off the phone with the licensing dept. They said my FFL03 was approved on the 2nd and mailed out so I should be getting it within the next days. To give you a timeline they charged my CC on Nov 30th.

Dang, they must be really backed up. I sent mine in around the same time but my fudge up will probably have me waiting around til March or April.

I did a Livescan on January 24th and mailed my COE application on January 25th. I received my COE certificate in the mail today.

Now I just have to wait for my FFL 03 to arrive.
