                  I can't help it...

I've already posted this in the AR-15 Gallery and the Non-Black AR-15 picture thread. But I really wanted to share here too.! (I feel like a new father showing off his first born )

After trolling this site for over 2.5 years, I finally bought my first (but I seriously doubt my last) AR. I bought her at the end of May and I've put about 250 rounds through her so far and she's everything I've always fantasized about! I'd like to introduce you all to Mary Jane:

She's a Windham Weaponry SRC. I wish I could say I built her myself but I bought her off the rack and completely assembled with all the furniture you see from my local gun store . (Are we allowed to post the names of the gun stores we frequent?)

                  Here's her parts list:
                  - Upper & Lower are from Windham Weaponry
                  - Troy MRF BattleRail w/ ladders
                  - Magpul 10/20 PMAGS
                  - Magpul MOE grip
                  - Vltor IMOD stock
                  - Magpul front and rear MBUS sights

(I'm saving up for an EOTECH 512.)

Her main uses so far have been punching holes in paper (very inaccurately but I'm trying to get better) and ringing steel.

Oh and here a few last shots of her stampings in case you've never heard of Windham Weaponry (cause I never heard of them until that day in the store):

I've never handled a Spike's Tactical or BCM or Mega or Bushmaster or any of the many other brands I see posted here. My only other experience with an AR-15 was shooting a fully automatic LWRC M6 during a trip to Las Vegas last year. But I gotta say Windham Weaponry made a great product! I LOVE MY RIFLE!

Congrats on the first AR! She's a good looking one!

                          It's an Accuracy First level - http://www.accuracy1stdg.com/store/

I went through a few levels trying to find one I liked and this one is perfect.

And for sh*ts and giggles here's a pic of it at night. I installed some tritium vials into it to illuminate it at night.

                            Update.
Finally had time to refinish the Beryl clone. Gave it a Grayish Black coat of Moly (looks pretty close to a parked finish). Looks much better now.

                              Here's both of mine AR's:
On the top-I built it with both Anderson Manufacturing Upper and Lower receivers. I used Loki Weapons 18" double fluted SS 1/8 twist barrel with AP carbon fiber fore grip. I haven't test it yet.
On the bottom-my standard Spike Tactical lower with Stag upper receiver.
