Looks like it would be a good candidate for featureless, if you wanted. You already have the brake & A2 stock, all you'd need is a Monsterman grip (and an ambi safety is handy for your thumb) and you could lose the bullet button. And use standard-capacity mags, if you have any old ones sitting around.

Switch out the front sight with a low profile gas block to get it out of the way of your scope.

That's what I'm going for actually. I'm working on constructing a custom fin (made out of a quarter inch thick piece of aluminum) but before I permanently attach it I'm waiting to see how a certain piece of legislation goes over. I'm also strongly considering modifying or purchasing a new upper receiver with a non-reciprocating side charging handle. The scope makes it tricky to charge, and I lose my sight picture and cheek weld. For now though, it's 'done'. I'm going to go shooting tomorrow for the first time since swapping the collapsible stock out for the A2 so I'll probably do another range report to see if it likes steel any better now. It was suggested to me that a flaw in the buffer tube could have an effect on the rifle's ability to properly feed. I digress. Between losing the Bulllet Button, and having a side charging handle, the rifle's usability will be significantly increased.
