I thought this was the .223 thread? Why is there a 9mm upper posted in here? Nice upper, that scope seems to be overkill if it is the one the owner uses.

How do you like the TRX Extreme? If you installed it yourself, how was that?

Gio, the scope is probably a 1-4x but yeah if it is a 9mm it is in the wrong place.

Upgraded my MOE stock to the ACS. Please note: I'm color blind so if the colors look funky I screwed them up when I was playing around with the contrast and stuff...

My 1st build. A Kaiser Defense lower with a Bushmaster Dissipator upper.
Don't laugh at my vert grip I will get a different one I wanted to see what it would feel like with it.

wildcrafter's mount is an American Defense brand mount. As I understand it they are owned by the same people as Daniel Defense, a huge name in the AR world. They are great mounts. I've used their ACOG and AIMPOINT mounts with great success. On par with LaRaue, IMHO. And yes, his front sight is on backwards. Perhaps it did not fit the normal way. Doubt it will affect performance. Height should be the same when flipped up, right?

Thank you for the clarifications in regards to the rifle I posted pics of in post #3739. The mount is indeed an American Defense mount and from what I can tell is quite high quality. It's very easy to use too. The front sight was also backwards in my pics. I didn't realize it until it was mentioned here but I have to admit it did look a little funny. I changed it around to it's normal position but as mentioned I also don't believe it would have affected performance as it did not affect the height of the sight. I have been told however that the railed gas blocks can get very hot and possibly even melt plastic sights like the Magpul, so I think I'll have to take it off when I get around to firing it.
