I'll throw my basic build in here. Thinking about picking up some plastic full cover hand guards (don't know the proper name). That or getting a light mount. We'll see what comes around first haha.

Then with optics mounted to reach out a little further easier

Very nice. Is that a 14.5 in a rifle length quad? Looks good. What scope is that?

                          It's actually a RRA 16" M4 barrel with the LaRue 13.2" handguard.
It's a really accurate barrel and it loves 5.56 TAP T2!!! (1:7 twist)
The hanguard works great for me because this gun always has a bipod mounted on it.

The scope is a Nikon Monarch 4-16x40 with Mil-Dot reticle. Great scope I highly recommend it! This rig killed 2 Burris TAC 30's before I installed the Nikon and I have had zero problems with it after 1200 rounds.

                            Thanks!

Yep it sure is nice when it's dead at ASR but your right, if it were like that more often we would have to find another place to shoot which would be a real bummer. Only place I know that has steel out to 600 yards.

Ah, I've got a 16" with a YHM rifle length, which I chose because I too expect to be using a bipod frequently. I'm shopping scopes though and yours looks very tempting, but the Leupold Mark AR is REALLY the top of my budget. Still, that side focus looks veeerry nice AND mil-dot. Jeez, this thread alone has done too much damage to my savings already. Guess the kids are going to COMMUNITY COLLEGE!
