Here's my first build.
KD lower
Stag LPK
High Standard upper
The rest is pretty self-explanatory. I put about 500 rds thru it this week without a single hiccup, except the BB "nut" managed to walk itslef down all the way at the range, making it CA legal whether I liked it or not.
Total cost was less than 900.00 the way you see it.... I love this site already!

Sold this one a while back, my first attempt at a Seal Recon Rifle. Very accurate but a little heavy, so I decided to stick with my M4 shown above. If I were to build another one I would use a Mark 4 Scope, American Defense Scout Mount, LMT SOPMOD Buttstock, and a different sling. The rest would be the same.
16" 1/8 Twist Chrome Barrelled Upper
Midwest Industries Free Floating Full Length Handguards
Magpul Rail Covers
Midwest Industries Flip-Up Front Sight
GG&G MAD Rear BUIS
Millet AR15 Rings

CMMG Off List Lower
Ambi Safety
KNS Anti Rotation Pins
Chip McCormick Trigger
Bushmaster 10/20 Magazine
Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard
Prince 50 Maglock
Midwest Industries Ambi Sling Adapter

Considering all the good word about how fantastic the AXR is compared to the MSAR or AUG, I guess I had been suckered into expecting something on the level of my SIG 556, even though it's a bullpup and by default is going to be a heavy, not so smooth trigger.
I don't know if it matters, but the trigger moves forwards and backwards only, as opposed to being hinged around an axis like most triggers, I may just have been 'pulling' in a direction I wasn't supposed to be. Maybe more practise and I'll get it right. It's been so long since I shot my (now-sold) M17S, I can't remember what the 'average' bullpup trigger is like. I need to compare with something else.
I don't think it's bad, I just seem to have (maybe without good cause) to have expected better.
