i ordered Directly from ACE's websites...

before everyone else was carrying their products.

before ACE had a online shopping cart.. i had to call/Fax my order in.. this was close to 10+ plus years ago.

did all the US parts conversion Pre Y2K.

I have a heat shield inside my front handguard, and haven't had any heat problems... but I don't really hold on the handguard anyway. At least the plastic hasn't shown any signs of melting. My stock isn't a K-Var, it's some other brand of US-made stock with a heat shield.

NO way. Vest doesn't match the pants, no sign of trauma plate, hat's wrong, and he's standing on 1 foot.

Tactical FAIL.

FWIW (mostly because I'm wound too tight ): No trauma plate 'cause that vest won't carry armor, but it's a handy way to carry mags (and a pair of gloves and a Leatherman...) I'm not standing on one foot, really... I'm walking and shooting.

Good Lord, if I knew the pic was of a moderator I wouldn't have tried (and apparently stumbled) for a bit of levity. I also need to re-study my vests.
