Am I the only one that put the kibosh on long gun purchases?

Since the new law went into affect I seized all long gun purchases as a matter of fact i havent even bought a handgun, I am not really trusting the system right now (i guess i was not before either).

Its one thing if an officer pulls up a gun check and sees several different types
of handguns but with all the hype on AR15's if he pulled that up it may be a whole new type traffic stop or any situation that may happen in the future.

Anybody else in the same boat? If it wasnt for 80% my hobby would not exist.
"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of excercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate excercise to the body, it gives independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are to violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion of your walks." Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785.

I'm building my first AR right now. I thought about doing a 80% but figured, I bought 4 new guns last year. They are going to come for all my guns, not just the scary black ones.

I have too many long guns and wasn't planning on buying anymore in the foreseeable future. Then, I walked into Turner's in Oxnard looking for an out of print book and hoping they would have it. They didn't. But, they did have a nice little 11-48 with a vented rib in 28g. I couldn't let it sit on the shelf at the price they had on it. So..........I now own a registered 28g shotgun. I'm so glad the state has decided that these evil +50 year old 28g shotguns need to be registered. I highly doubt that anyone has ever used a 28g in a crime but, yea, the state now knows I have it.

Since I have not been purchasing guns, my gun fund has been growing but no spending, its so hard not to buy.

I build still from 80s but no more purchases of receivers or complete rifles since 01/01/14.

                              i own handguns

there's literally no point in long gun registration as a reason to stop me from buying more rifles.

                              now, finances are another thing....
