Just bought a SCAR. What am I going to do...never buy a rifle again?

Same here. I'd rather not have to register new purchases. But I'm NOT going to stop buying guns because of the registration requirements. I haven't altered my gun buying or shooting activities one bit as a result of new registration requirements. They haven't won and I haven't lost. Life is still good.

Exactly. What these FUD followers don't seem to realize is that not buying guns is the same result as the future confiscation that they fear: no new guns.

Yeah bad enough we have to register our handguns. But we are gonna move away at some point. Just doing recon on Texas and AZ to see what most closely mimics Laguna Beach, CA in beauty. And yes, I am straight, just an OC native who grew up surfing Crystal Cove when we had a real president and OC was USMC influenced. The whole point of the 2A was so that honorable, law abiding people could not only defend themselves from certain elements, but all bad elements, including a usurping government. Once the govt knows who has all the guns, they can simply use one of their public employee unions to imprison and disarm, or declare "mentally unstable", all who would oppose them. These judges need to get this through their heads. They won't always be public employees, and their pensions and tax paid benefits will probably disappear as well at some point, at least in this state. Then they will be ordinary Joes like you and me.

I thought I was done , but I picked up a mossberg MVp and a 10/22 takedown . I already owned registered pistols before. Where people really messed up is if they failed to get C&R guns before 1/1/2014

Exactly. Every time a new BS law is enacted in CA, as a whole, gun owners roll over and take it.

Gun registration is unconstitutional and I will have no part in it.

I'm only doing 80's until I move to Arizona at the end of the year. December can't come soon enough...

Congratulations on your impending move. I bailed out of the PRC this year in March. I have no regrets and I am never going back. I love being able to drive a few minutes out into the desert and shoot my guns.

Same here. I've just been adding mula to the gun fund for a SCAR-17, finally have enough. I don't know if I want one now....

I bought my last rifle before 1/1/14. I won't buy another long gun in CA. I have enough.
I do want a few more handguns, that I plan to buy before they call off the approved list.
I'm hoping S&W paid the fees for the 3" 686+ for another year, otherwise I'm looking for a PPT.

I owned everything I NEED years ago. I still buy what I want. Could care less what Traffic Cop Joe sees on his tin-foil computer screen. There are far more important things to worry about.
