Plain Jane is the only way to run an AR. I'm good to 100 yards, but still need practice out to 200 yards with irons. Unless you are an operator, rails, optics, etc, are not necessary.

Does mine count? I know it has Magpul furniture but that's pretty plain nowadays vs free float etc.

Mine is very plain, the CAR stock is the only real accessory. Classic hand guards, carry handle/Troy A2 style front sight.

I think your selector is missing. Actually, your LPK is missing, lol

Correct, I'm trying to decide what LPK I want for that gun. Not sure if I want to go Geissele or ACT.

If you aren't trying to get crazy with it, I found that out of PSA, RRA, and CMMG standard LPKs, the CMMG had the nicest milspec trigger. ~$60

I am planning on a plain Jane A2 for my first build. I am looking at PSA when they get the entire build kit in stock.

I'll sell my PSA mil spec trigger, I shot about 100 rounds and switched to the tacticool cmc flat trigger.

Had to fit in with the cool kids at the range

Since this is the "fullstock" AR thread pun intended... how do you tell if a rifle buffer tube is mill spec? Do they even have comerchal rifle tubes? I picked a new looking one up at the gun show to go with a spring plunger I got on CG but the dude was no habla English...

Sorry if I broke the rules it just seemed foolish to start a whole thread for this one question.
