AR prices seem to have settled a bit, but the MWS seems to still be heavily affected by panic-gouging. Great rifle, though.

                  Half truth.

Armalite sold the design to Colt, Colt didn't copy.

Sig USA has been putting out some garbage and the quality seems to be a shadow of what it was when the firearms were manufactured in Germany. I don't know if this extends to their AR platform but it makes me leery of their products, any of their products.

I have SIG516 Patrol and the SIG716 Patrol. love them both. Never had a bit of problem. DI vs Piston is all in what your going to do with it I have three DI & two piston. SIG516 is affordable Piston AR out of the box ready to fight. My 516 was dead on right out of the box , the 716 need some adjustment. From what I read and here the Colt has the best barrel... A True colt is on my wish list just to have one with my colt 1911.

Your COLT LE6940CA looks well done up I would just hang on to it. Save and get the Sig in do time if you still wont one.

^^^^ how many rounds have you put through your 516 and 716?

And when you say the 716 needed adjustments, what are you referring to exactly?? Thanks.

                        The 516 I would say 800/1k PMC55 & PMC-Xtac.. For the 716 100 Federal 7.62x51 Nato

716 adjustments was just in the flip up sights. 716 was also a bit dirty out of the box. Never did call sig but some guns get extra shots taken at the plant, so i have been told. Bore was clean, gas rod had some extra powder on it. I got both at riflegear.
