Isn't the 6920 on the naughty list?

Keep the Colt, The Sig 516 was 1399$ if I can recall, now listed at 2000$ out of stock price.

For the the money, I would save up and get in line for a Larue or DD and call it a day.

If you want Gas Piston. Get an AK, Scar or M1A.

        I appreciate everyone's opinions.

I decided not to sell/trade the COLT LE6940CA for the SIG SAUER SIG516 Patrol.

I really want the COLT LE901-16S now but I can't find one anywhere

Any suggestions on an alternative if I can not find a COLT LE901-16S?

There's definitely no shortage of them on GB.

No, it's good to go, if you can find one for under $2000.

'OP either keep the Colt or add the Sig...

6940 >>>>>>>>>>>.........sig.....bad trade. if you are seriously thinking of it, you must be loosing it.........unless the deal also has money and goodies thrown into the mix the even up the sig, the colt is that much more better overall.

                      This one does:

Do you ship AR-15's to California? Yes, we do! However, we require you to send us a bullet button. All rifles must arrive at your FFL assembled in accordance to your state laws.

                        Thank You!

Please correct me if I am wrong but the installation of a bullet button is the only thing that needs to be done to be California compliant?

Of course, the 20 round magazine would be forfeited.

You could always purchase the rifle from the seller as is, and send it to an out-of-state FFL who's CA friendly. For example; Henderson Defense in NV does the CA Compliance Conversions (for a shop fee). They did my Intratec AB-10 for me a few years ago.

                              Yes, that is correct.

Regarding the magazines, they simply need to be disassembled prior to shipping, and once in your possession, reassembled with 10-round limitors.

Once you have the LE901, you can sell your current Colt lower to fund another purchase, or offset the price of the LE901.

Since the debut of LE901, I have seriously wanted one, but would settle for an M&P10.

How about LMT MWS?? But really hard to find one without price gouging right now.
