If you are a collector, then a Colt is ok....its the same as owning a Bushmaster fixed magazine sealed 10rd magazine California Top Loading AR15.

I don't know that the "webbing" is of any concern as you really cannot do anything with it anyway.

We also have to remember that State in which Colt lives. THEY (the State) put many of these sill restrictions in place (not Colt). If you notice, Colt has opened up a facility in Florida. IMHO, they will eventually move most or all of their company to a different State.

Since you edited out, I will edit mine as well.

Please dont tell me I am wrong without researching what I am saying.

      Thanx

PS that webbing does matter to some people.
PSS I can buy a RDIAS and use it in a DD, I can't do that with a Colt.
PSS again... any time you want to edit post #33, you can. I reponded to your post against me.

      Have a nice day.

Look it up. Colts sold to the general public have a webbing inside them. Colts sold under Military or LEO contract do not.

Grant, stop trying to prove me wrong. While its possible and I do make mistakes, I seriously doubt you will be the one to find that mistake.

No need to be your usual cranky, old, rude self. Its a new year, try growing up a little.

We sell a lot of Colt LE (Semi) AR's. They have the "webbing" in the back.

Get the Colt, forget the brand X siht ! As far as the "webbing" that prevents an "auto sear" from being used-- that
is really a non starter---- you are never going to use one in this state or most of the other states. Pete

I was fortunate enough to get a Colt LE6940 just before the Colt 6940CA was released. Wouldn't trade it for the world. DD and Colt are both top shelf companies, can't go wrong with either. Price wise, with Colt, you are going to pay extra for the name. I also have a CMMG that is just as dependable as my Colt.

Thanks for all your suggestions. If I were to get the Colt, I can only afford the 6920CA without the mono as the other one is a little over my budget.

The 6920 will serve you fine! It will also hold it's value better then the others( if you decide to sell.) Pete

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I'll be going for the Colt SP6920CA. Now I just need to find a good deal locally. I hear you can get one for $999 if lucky.

I don't think they make this configuration anymore. They only have the XVEZ with the EZ rail on it. I assume it's because the regular handguard version didn't sell very well, though I'm not sure. They're still out there if you search for them, but I don't believe DD has that configuration for sale anymore. Also, unless you already know how you're going to set up your gun, having a little rail space for flexibility isn't a bad idea.

Man I still can't decide between the SP6920CA and the XV EZ as they're practically identical in price but I think the XV has more features for the price?

Both are excellent rifles, so there is no bad decision here. Start with one. Nothing says you can't have two or more rifles that fill the same niche. Also, once you buy one and run it for awhile, you'll start to figure out what works for you. Because what works for someone else, isn't necessarily what will work for you and right now, you only know what others think.

Start with a quality gun. If you buy an optic, a light etc, stay with quality products and you'll be fine.
