The NCPPRC - tactical long range - has a scheduled practice next Saturday. It's open to anyone who shows up. They start at 200 yards and work their way back to 1000. Bring your rifle out and have some more fun.

Pay your regular range fee at the public range office, then be in the target pits by 8:30. Sign in with the NCPPRC and pay them their range fee, and help set up targets.

Safety brief will be between 8:30-8:45. Then they start shooting. 2 relays. One shoots the whole way out while the other pulls and marks targets, then they switch off.

I'd advise signing up for first relay to minimize shooting in any wind.

Damn i think im going to be busy but hell i going to NEED to to rescheduel if i can. im addicted to long range shooting. i feel like a kid getting a christmas present whenever i land a shot at those distances.

have you ever heard of walking in your shots? fact of the matter is, there was no data anywhere on how to do adjust at those distances so I decided to just take Jerry Tierney's advice and walk the shots in purposly, its called DELIBERATLY missing and then making adjustments based on where the bullet impacted.

and ive given most of the credit to Jerry due to his influence with his master wind doping skills. i never said it was all me or anything of that sort. a 7% success rate would have been if i was attempting to hit the target off the bat... i do not see your logic with that 7% success rate.
