Most Accurate Cartridge To 200 Yards?

Since there is no range closer than two hours (each way) that permits shooting beyond 200 yards, what cartridge would deliver the best accuracy at 100 and 200 yards? Bolt action rifle. Before anyone says the 6mm PPC, I am looking for something that can be reloaded fairly easily (no fussy case forming) and for which their are production rifles and/or actions available. I am not sure there is anything much better than the 223 Remington for this purpose. Very possibly the 204 Ruger or other 20 caliber. Or maybe the the 6mmBR (useful if I ever go longer range). Others?

You answered your own question. Ok, how about .22PPC? Or .30BR?

Sounds like if you want the VERY best, you'll be forming cases. But if you aren't trying to win at the 200 yd benchrest game, the 6mm BR will probably teach you a lot about accurate shooting.

6BR for factory chamberings would get my vote.

I can get low sub MOA with my 308 at 200yds easily.

wait are we seriously asking about 200 yards? thats almost like asking whats the best at 100 yards. at 200 yards if you are shooting crappy it's because of user error and not a mechanical limit. Now if this was posted in the handgun section or even the shotgun section it would be different but center fire rifle...and seriously .338 lapua....really????

but to answer your question, no it doesn't get any better than .223

.223 and .308 are plenty accurate at 200 yards. Those super fast rounds are for staying supersonic at long distances to give a middle finger to the wind and at 200 yards the wind hardly plays a factor.

Just use .17HMR and practice a lot. It's not reloadable because it's rimfire, but who cares.

OP asked what was BEST at 100-200 yards. .223 and .308 are not BEST at that range. Someone shooting benchrest would certainly argue that they are not remotely adequate. Everything is relative.....

Of course, one will probably not realize the accuracy potential with an off-the-rack production rifle.

50BMGBOB puts on a couple of 200 yard 50 matches at USI every year. You could always get a 50. Or, a friend of mine loves subcaliber stuff, he has some awesome 12 and 14 cal firearms. I like the 12 squirrel for some reason.
