So I'm cleaning down my ar just now and I'm putting back all my pieces and notice my flash hider looks a little off from where it normally is positioned. I barely touch it and the thing is really loose. How tight are these suppose to be on?? Has anyone ever had this happen?

It should be tightened with a wrench until it's lined up with all of the exhaust cuts facing up. There should be a crush/peel washer between the flash hider and the barrel that provides the proper torque and alignment. They make a special muzzle wrench, but in reality, you can do it with any wrench that fits the nut.Comment
