Ok, first off id like to say this forum has a plethora of information, and ive done ALOT of searching to find exactly what i am looking for, but find myself getting confused with so much information to sort through.
Heres the story: I am currently enlisted with the Coast guard, and am currently stationed in Alaska. I recently purchased a JLD ent. PTR-91 with what i believe to be a flash surpressor.
In about 2 years i will possibly (not sure yet) be ending my enlistment, and moving back to California.
I have read so much on other people asking if their own rifle was legal to own in CA, with suggestions from others to have a 'bullet button' So am i not allowed to have a pistol grip? ive seen pictures from otheres here with pistol grips, any info is greatly appreciated.
edit:
What i am mainly asking is how much do i have to butcher apart my ptr to make it cali legal.
