HK 91 93 MP5 Bobcat Coharie JLD PTR Vector V51 V53 Vulcan Bullet Button HK Raddlock
Finally got a chance to make this post.
For those who haven't heard. Its ready!! This version HK Raddlock Kit will fit both the Metal & Polymer Receivers. After some extra help from fellow Calgun members (Thank you for showing me your collections and input). We finally settled on a design that will fit majority of the HK or Clone 91 & MP5 Series Rifles. If you have a button release, then this item will most likely fit. As the title reads. We have tested this Magazine Lock device on Cetme, PTR-91, Vector V51, Vector V53, Vector V93, Vector 9mm MP5, Bobcat AKA Coharie MP5 9mm, & Cetme Build Kit (with a descent receiver JLD preferred). With both Metal & Polymer (Navy Grip) Lowers. (Unfortunately for now Vector does not produce a .40 Caliber MP5 Series with a Button Release, so for now this mag lock will not work with your rifle, if you do not have a button release) Added Information: I forgot to stress the importance that if you own a rifle with both the Paddle Mag Release and Button Mag Relase, then you must disable the Paddle release before installing this magazine lock device. SEF Lower is same or similar to the Navy Grip on my PTR-91......no? The new button is 2 mm shorter than previous model. The base is .25mm thicker. The Current version is BTT-002. The shorter button cage is nearly impossible to grip by hand. If you can pull it out by hand without an aid of a tool, then your fingers can probably generate more than 8000 psi. Just kidding..... I find the Navy Grip (Polymer Lower) is much tighter fit than the Metal Lowers. But, if you follow the guide lines in the instruction, then it should work. However, I love to have anyone proof me wrong in this case, so we can address that issue. In some cases I can remove the Mag-Lock by hand, but its only when I have taken too much material off the Mag-Lock trying to fit it to the receiver. There are some nasty welded home-brew receivers out there that I just don't recommend using this product. But, if you are referring to the SEF Metal Lower on the MP5 in the picture, then that has been tested also. The Tail Extension is designed fit into a slot in the lower grip receiver and the small step or edge on the bottom of the tail will help grip the receiver. The shorter button cage in combination with the thicker base makes a very stable fit. Also the material itself is very slick, it dm near impossible to grip or push against it. When properly fitted to the receiver, this Mag-Lock can not be removed without an aid of a tool or the lower receiver removed. Last edited by radd; 08-17-2007 at 3:36 PM.. |

I have never seen a HK lower in person, So I can't really give an expert opinion. It was just an observation I made from 1st picture in the second post.
It a great looking bullet button. I would buy it if I had something to put it on. |

Heh...Irony....I can't use a 7.62x39 Round to use for my AK bullet Button it's too fat for the leverage needed...I just use a 223 on a "leash" and call it a day .

Added Information:
I forgot to stress the importance that if you own a rifle with both the Paddle Mag Release and Button Mag Relase, then you must disable the Paddle release before installing this magazine lock device.
One way of doing so is by replacing paddle release spring bushing with the standard spring bushing. Ask you dealers about getting the Spring Bushing as needed. In the future we hope to produce the Spring Bushings and it will be included in the kit also. |
