I think it's more important for you to make the decision if you want to be able to change it's configuration rather than the name brand of button your using for your magazine release. After all, in the end, it's still just a button; not exactly the centerpiece of the rifle. For the record, I use the original,......it works.

radlock seems to be the most reliable for me. I havent tried the vampfire or w/e it is, looks like theres too many parts to mess with... I dont want to use a tiny allen wrench when I can use a flat head screw driver on the radlock...Comment

It's funny, because I bought a Radlock AND the dummy 5.56 bullet release tool from Riflegear. The bullet tip WOULD NOT go deep enough into the hole to release the mag.......no .223 or 5.56 bullet tip would...............and that goes for that ugly B16 lock also. The original BB, BB Convertible, and Vamfire MLD have a larger hole, and you can fit many different larger objects into the hole to drop the mag. I'm sorry, but the bigger the hole the better.Comment

Looks like i'll be getting the Original Bullet Button, since it's non-convertible to mag release. I don't want to deal with a power-tripping LEO trying to nail me for having a convertible BB. I've heard that the Prince50 BB ran into that problem with LEO's, since it's a convertible/reversible BB.
From my understanding, it looks like other manufactures, such as Raddock, Vanfire, etc, are interchangeable. I'd rather play it safe and change out the BB myself if i am shooting out of CA.Comment

Good choice. Some people travel out of state rather frequently or have a 22 upper they use a lot of the convertible BB's make sense. Otherwise, its just one more thing to worry about.Looks like i'll be getting the Original Bullet Button, since it's non-convertible to mag release. You use a very small flat head screw driver for the Raddlock, and the Vamfire MLD comes with a tiny allen wrench to raise and lower the lock for in-state/out of state use.Comment

Raddlock uses a small flathead screwdriver. Vamfire uses a .050 allen key. Bullet tip would be for dropping mags. I assume the people having trouble with Raddlocks not having a large enough hole are using an older version. My coworker has a Gen X and doesn't have any issues.
But no matter what device is used, I highly recommend the Thordo Ultimate Bullet Button tool

and that's where the CAL15/BS shines compared to others...(although it's not exactly appealing). I prefer it, IMHORaddlock uses a small flathead screwdriver. Vamfire uses a .050 allen key. Both the .223/5.56 bullet tip and UBBT work for dropping mags on my GenX Raddlocks. Check out the UBBT, it rocks.
