Which AR bullet button to buy

what is the best bang for the buck in bullet buttons. Gathering all the parts for my first AR build. Buddy told me he likes the rifle gear one. One on flea bay that looks the same also for half the price. Where should I get this thing at?

I'm a satisfied Vamfire MLD owner. If you choose to not support your local dealer, I encourage you to check out Metal Dog Tactical (San Jose based & forum sponsor). Tunis offers free shipping and no tax on his Cali compliance parts

RaddLock ($35) gets my vote, but "bang for the buck" has to go to the regular Prince50 ($15)

      TROY M7A1

Vamfire M.L.D. Period. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=289710 The Radlock sucks, unless you prefer a mag release hole that's half the size of a bullet button hole. Oh ya, not to mention that it's overpriced. YES, the Vamfire is two-position for out of state use, and it's a much cleaner design than the Radlock (it looks almost like the original bullet button, but has slightly beveled edges and a tiny hole for the Allen wrench that lowers it for out of state use).

I prefer the original bullet buttons. It only takes about 2 mins. to swap back to the original mag release if you go out of state. Like stated earlier they are only about half the cost of the two position ones.

I like the regular Prince50. Rock solid and just one screw away from use in a free state.

I used to have the Vamfire freelock, but recently tried out a Raddlock. Never going back.

B16 gets my vote. I have not tried the Vamfire but I have tried all the others.

I don't think people here realize that the Vamfire "freelock" IS NOT the Vamfire M.L.D. Follow my link above.

i prefer the basic no frills bullet button. i have nightmares about errant LEO's testifying that my radlock was in the wrong position.

The B16 requires replacement of a fire control pin, LOOKS TOTALLY GHETTO, and again the ejection hole is too damn small, just like the Radlock. I wonder why nobody sells the B16 anymore?
