How much do you want to spend would be my first question.

100-150 maybe 200 if it is needed to get something special. I see them for around 79.00 to over 250.00 and I dont really know what is the major difference. Should I match the brand to the upper like also getting a daniel defense bolt carrier group since my upper is daniel defense. Or should I get a Noveske bolt carrier group since I am probably getting a noveske barrel.

Just buy a bolt that is MP tested and a carrier that has properly-staked keys and you should be good to go as long as the headspacing is correct.

                    Aren't they all the same?

im starting to think all this MP HPI testing really doesn't matter.

Here is my 0.02 cents. I own both a Noveske SS DI Rifle and a DD Piston Rifle and have maintained both. If you have the $$$ and time to maintain a DI rifle, especially you thinking of a Noveske barrel, go with a BCM BCG. They perform very well and besides any fancy logos, etchings, or coating on the more $$$ BCG will be covered in carbon/oil for you to clean anyways so it doesn't really matter. On a Piston Rifle it is a different story all together but if you must twist my arm to find a $$$ BCG I would look into JP Performance products.

BTW: The Noveske is up for sale FYI.

                            WTF? Bwwwwaaaaah!

CLP is expensive? 5 minutes is too long?

Another noob getting his info from urban legends.

Any AR can be cleaned after a day of vigorous shooting (several thousand rounds) in under 5 minutes - 3 if you're rushing to dinner and wanna cut a few corners.

Clean the bore with a bore snake. Clean the chamber with chamber brush/mop. Clean the inside of the upper with some baby wipes and reapply CLP. Take the bolt from carrier, wipe the carrier down w/baby wipes then w/CLP til clean, and keep it a tad wet. Clean/lube inside the bolt carrier. Lube the key. Clean/lube the firing pin, cam pin, cotter pin. Clean the bolt & teeth and keep teeth lubed. Lube the extractor & ejector and exercise them several cycles to get the CLP down there. Reassemble the bolt to carrier, lube/clean behind the teeth in the barrel extension, lube/clean the FCG and use a baby wipe w/CLP to clean somewhat into the receiver extension and keep the buffer lubed. Reassemble and wipe down rifle w/CLP and let dry. Also ensure bore is dry and no liquid in it so it's good to go at a moment's notice. Wipe down mags and upper part of follower travel.

Anything else is overcleaning (except perhaps in a hyper-match rifle or have dragged your rifle thru the mud.
