    Featureless FTW

Changed up my featureless build and replaced the Hammerhead with the Solar Tactical kydex grip wrap. Both are excellent products, but standard grip angle of the kydex wrap is much more comfortable for me.

Still need to find a good way to mount a sling since the Noveske QD endplate doesn't work well with the grip wrap in the way.

Muzzle device is a YHM compensator and the Magpul ACS does not telescope.

    My buyer/seller feedback.

    welcome to the winning team

i dont know who make either of these endplates but ive got one that has a single attachment point on the left side.. its for sure has a feeling of "theres something against my thumb" but its workable.. a buddy of mine has an endplate that has a (for lack of a better term) keychain disconnect style attachment that sits on the back of the plate.. it also has a feeling of "theres something against my thumb" but its also workable
Boy the way Glen Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days, and you know where you were then, girls were girls and men were men, mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again, didn't need no welfare states everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lasalle ran great, those were the days!

    who wants a fishtank?

Nice build. Did you notch out the Solar Tactical grip to clear the ACS?

Re: Slings -- You could also try running a two point sling, which will attach without any issues to your buttstock.

Thanks, yes, I cut out a notch for the ACS because that stock position works well for me.

That's probably what I'll end up doing since I have the Magpul RSA right in front of the Aimpoint.

Can you (or anyone) throw up a few photos of how you grip with that thing attached? How comfy is it? Where do you place your thumb?
Common sense is so rare these days that it really ought to be classified as a superpower.

Best I could do at 4:40am while holding the camera with my other hand.

It's surprisingly comfortable for not being able to wrap your thumb around. I'm able to hold the gun up with one hand to reload, flip the rear BUIS up, etc. When it's on safe (like the pic) my thumb rests on top of the ambi-safety. When I want to fire, I just flick my thumb down and it kind of rests flat against my index finger if that makes any sense.

                  beautiful gun.

I am on the fence with the featureless movement - 2 reasons - like a lot of guys it's about the ergo's and the look.

I have built 2 featureless rifles so far and sold them both off.. didn't like 'em. But this gun of yours has me back in the saddle.
