I bought (money order) an EOTech XPS from a fellow calgunner via Marketplace approx. 4 weeks ago. He claims that he shipped the sight to me on Wed. 12/15. However, I still have not received anything. He also promised to send me the tracking info, but not yet received it either. It seems to me that there is something fishy going on with the transaction... any suggestions?

I would message him again and ask for the tracking information. Did he provide you with a home address for the MO? -
When was the last time you spoke with him? Perhaps this is time to notify the Mods here.

OK. what's the correct forum then? I got a PM from him on 12/30. He wrote that he will contact me on 1/3 when he returns from his trip. However, I have not heard from him. Yes, I have his address. He is a senior member w/ good, but not perfect standings. I have asked the tracking info from him several times...Comment

Hmmmm... Contact a mod and let them know of the sitch. Then follow up and if you keep getting pushed off or nothing at all then get a hold of the mods and take action.
Your money and purchase isnt at his leisure. Another reason I never do forum sales unless
its from a trusted member or face to face.Comment

If it's a postal money order go file a claim with your stub with info on it. I would PM him one more time and if you don't hear from him by tomorrow I would start whatever action possible. The mods won't do anything, An active trader got me for 150 od bucks and admitted it. Never sent anything or the money back, He still has stuff for sale from time to time.Comment

A postal MO can be tracked and verified if cashed. ..You'll probably get a reply that " He shipped it before he left out of town and he just returned home to find it in his mail box with incorrect postage, wrong address,, his dog forgot to ship it while he was away...I've heard most of them. expect a huge bill from him if you cancel that MO..then the PO drops the optic on your door...or if he can prove he shipped it to you.
for all we know YOU did get the optic and are now trying to RIP him off.
I wouldnt cancel that MO just yet...if you are wrong it will cost your greatly.Comment
