It seems to me that there is something fishy going on with the transaction... any suggestions?
Send me a PM with the details. I'll look into it.

For something like this scope he (seller or buyer) should have paid for insurance and signature conformation (several times i paid out of my pocket for this just to avoid any problems). If i sell an item that is over a couple hundred i always get signature conformation and insurance just to avoid any issues like this. Even if he did not get delivery conformation (.70 cents extra) he should have some kind of receipt and can scan and pm it.

It has already taken 19 days for an hour trip. Is the USPS that bad?

If you don't get a reasonable answer from the guy, drive that hour to his place and ask him WTF?!

I had some Christmas packages stolen off my porch, so it is quite possible that happened. My youngest boy did not get his new RC helicopter. I am still dealing with UPS and filing a claim. I doubt I'll ever recoup my money.

It took 5 working days just to send an envelope to nor-cal last week. I've also had my mail sent back to me twice I'n the past 2 years. that being said, he should have at least contacted you again, taken a picture, whatever, just something. After the dispute is settled maybe you should post his name so that we can be sure not to deal with them.

                          Hope it works out.

Some people get busy and lose track of responsibilities over the holidays. Hopefully he sobers up and gets your stuff out to you soon.
