That question is like asking how fast a Ford can drive. But, since I assume you are asking if the standard configuration will do that then yes, it will. My BCM 16" Mid BFH upper non-free floated will shoot accurately out to the 500yds Ive shot it at. Ive shot sub-moa groups at 100yds as well. But, Ive been shooting the AR platform for well on 5-6 years now, and Ive shot semi-competitively in the Marine Corps in the past as well. If you want to push the heavier grain rounds out that far, you'd be better served with a 1:7 or 1:8 twist rate. I wont go into what's better than what, but my DD and BCM rifles are very nice

People have been shooting standard military grade ammo out of service rifles with the loop sling at those kind of distances for years now. Experience and skill and lots of practice garner results like this.

Great Shooting OP! Thanks for the vid!

Nice shots indeed and thanks for sharing. How much of the RL15 powder do you use for the 77gr bullets and at what OAL? Thanks in advance.

I have shot my AR15 out to 500 yards on a 18" diameter steel late with very consitent hits out of a 16" addax upper. It's actually not hard at all if you have decent trigger discipline. Also i find it a lot easier shooting out of irons. I can never hit crap with red dot sights. Don't know why.

I'm kind of the same. Using irons or a 1-4x I can hit well, but with a higher powered scope I can't hit crap consistently.
