Picked up my 3rd 710 today. It is a pretty good beater rifle but not meant for precision but it will hit a paper plate at 300 yards all day which is accurate enough for hogs or deer.

May I ask why your 3rd. What happen to the first two, did they break or what. How did you like the scope that came with it( I am refering to the one I saw at Big 5)?

My buddy has those rings on one of his rifles...he seems to really like them.

I've got these on my 700p, they're super stout and easy to use, you'd need a picatinny rail though. I have their 20moa rail and it's fantastic.

I still have the other two. I use them as beater rifles or loaners for when I guide people to hunt. they shoot well enough for hunting but the bolts on them can stick at times. The scopes on them are okay for novice shooters. If you want to buy mine I can sell it to you cheap.
