    Bullet jamming in my AR

I dont know why but out of a 100 rounds I get about 3 jammed bullets. Its the first round when I put in a new clip. Ill pull the bolt back and let it fly forward. Its then that the bullet tip gets stuck on the barrel. Its a pain in the arse to get it out. I have to use a screwdriver and force the bullet back toward the clip then pull the clip out. Any ideas?

Does it go all the way into the chamber or does it get stuck halfway into the chamber?? What kind of ammo are you using ?

If you are using any kind if mags that limit to 10 rounds like 10/30 pmag ect. You might want to try only loading 9 rounds if this works flawlessly you will have to adjust what you are using to limit it to ten.

not to nit pick, but just to educate so you can sound like you know what you are talking about. i don't think "bullets" are getting stuck in your AR. they are "cartridges" or "rounds". bullets are the projectiles at the tip of a round. if it is an empty brass (or steel) casing that is getting stuck, then it is called a "casing". also, AR's are fed by "magazines", not "clips". just wanted to give you a heads up on the terminology.

as for your problem, how do your feed ramps look? maybe they need some polishing?

which is why I advise NOT to get a Upper with M4 cuts unless you plan on buying NFA.

My Rock River has M4 cuts and haven't had any feeding issues at all. Maybe try cleaning that thing every now and then? What is that, pocket lint?
Fallujah had become a magnet for foreign jihadists and there were several thousand in the city who had come to make martyrs of themselves, to die while killing as many Americans as possibleAt each house I said a prayer, 'Please God get me out of this one.' When I come out of the house, I thank Him, light up a cigarette and move on to the next onesigpic

that's not the fault of the M4 cuts, it just wasn't assembled correctly.

OK big guy, thanks for the info
Ive tried three types of ammo and they all have done it.
Ive tried ten round mags and 20 round blocked off at ten, they both do it.
The round is getting stuck before the barrel. It looks like the tip is getting stuck on the ramp going into the barrel.
