So my buddy who works at a Halloween store came across something that he knew I would love to have...........

A new friend to take shooting!




Oh, and I also bought an LMT 308




I got a good deal on the rifle a few weeks ago or so and they sent the upper to me and I just started the DROS for the lower on Tuesday.

The barrel is VERY heavy. I didnt weigh it but once I removed the barrel from the monolithic upper, the upper felt almost weightless. I pick up my lower next friday and I will likely take it out the following day.

Lets hope it groups well!

As for the maniken, I will take it out to the desert and shoot it. It will also provide exercise for ranging with mil dots.

LOL no its my new PS-74 multical lower! You can shoot with it and also fill it with liquids and marbles!


My glock lower should be coming soon though, lets hope it doesnt kaboom


I cant wait until the .260 barrels come out for the LMT. Its gonna be sick as hell.

I plan on selling the SOPMOD stock that comes with the rifle and also ditching what IIRC is an Ergo grip and replacing them with a magpul ACS and the MIAD.


Now for you other LMT 308 owners, what did you do about the ambi mag release? Didnt LMT make something to disable one of the mag releases?

Cut a small access hatch in the cranium, and fill it up with red jello mixed with spaghetti noodles. I can tell you from experience with this setup and a 300 Win Mag that the resulting chunks and pink mist are quite spectacular

Years ago when I was back in school I was working part time at a bookstore and snatched up a promotional standup of a full-size velociraptor (from JURASSIC PARK). Took it to the range and ran a case of 7.62mm NATO belted through a registered M1919A4 (this was [obviously] not in Kali). If Pete Postelwaite had had one of these, the movie could have been fifty minutes shorter.
