Well, I'm certainly not here for 4x4 vehicle advice. While I certainly understand the reasons why people drive heeps, I certainly don't have to respect their decision since Jeeps don't serve my purposes. Certainly you can understand the allure of not following the crowd in that regard. I'd rather push my Rover than ride in a heep.

I think this is an awesome post which helps to show the diversity of the members here! I'm all for supporting your right to choose whether you own a firearm or not as long as, you support my right to choose as well. I'm curious, do you shoot at all? Or, are you just here to enjoy the ambiance of this site?

Dang. Crap-15? I wouldn't go that far. I got Rovers and FAL's too, but have an AR on the way. They've got better ergo's than the FAL and are much lighter, making for a happier wife. I will never take my new AR long-range shooting, but I wouldn't take my FAL either. I would take my AR precision shooting, but my FAL...

The FAL is great for smashing holes in bad guys hiding behind cover, but I don't regularly shoot bad guys hiding behind cover, thus my gradual conversion to the AR platform. I'll never lose the FAL though, it's too pretty.
