not much of a sale....that is usually their normal price. When it is a real sale it is 79 dollars.

You won't see the $79 price at Big 5 anymore. The new 'normal' price on Mosins is $179. About once a month they have a $99 sale price.

If you can find it, there's sometimes a 10% off coupon that will stack with sale items.

Nope. Not in CA. All C&Rs have to be DROS'ed if buying from an FFL01 or 02.

My 10 day is up and I am picking one up today. When you consider that this is less than even a cheap scope, it's quite the bargain.

The M91/30 is $99.99 again thru the 23rd at Big 5.

What should one look for on these rifles IF one happens to find themselves at their local Big 5 tomorrow?

Lol I got mine from Big 5 for $49. This was like 6 years ago or so though. And the mosin sucked. And I switched the bolt with another one and it went off on its own.....needless to say I took the rifle back.
