DPMS makes excellent products, but it's really not listed as an AR10 it's a DPMS .308. BTW - You're going to have to get a Fulton lower or something similar since the DPMS lower is banned in CA.

i am an out of state and go between cali and utah. it has a 24" fluted bb. it would be for long distance shooting. i will be looking for a 16" upper to switch it out for regular shooting. kinda like what the armed forces are starting to do. carry the 24" upper while the 16" is on.

Oh and not to be a total schmegma, but if you want to be precise with naming conventions, the rifle would be an LR-308! Not a DPMS 308. I just refer to mine as an AR-308 though, because I have a POF lower I guess it would technically be a P-308.
