    Brad
Thanks for posting the data. 100 fps is a game changer
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Sort of. My load is 3.4 gr. of Titegroup behind a 147 gr. plated bullet. It's a 140 pf load. My 1911 likes it. The calculated velocity and the actual velocity are very close at 944 fps out of a 5 in barrel. It peaks at 33 ksi at .6 inches in the barrel and drops to 2 ksi by 5 in. With a 16 in. barrel, velocity goes up by 130 fps but the pressure at 16 in. is down to 500 psi. The calculated pressure at 20 in. is down to 380 psi. At some point the friction from the barrel will be greater than the remaining pressure. This is how people stack bullets in the barrel. My coworker stacked 2 bullets at the muzzle. JP had someone stack like 20 bullets.

I shot SNS coated bullets for a few months, then after submerging my muzzle brake in every solvent I had including Kroil, still had to chisel out the lead build up. My muzzle brake almost had no ports. I stick with plated bullets now.

Great data, OP. Question: I heard someone say that there is "no useful difference" in ballistics (terminal or otherwise) between a full-size 9mm handgun and a 9mm PCC.* Would you say your data supports that view, or are you seeing things in the weeds I am not picking up?

*Before anyone loses their mind, yes - there are other useful things a PCC brings to the fight. But I'm simply talking about ballistics here.

Some people think +160 fps is useful, hahahahahahahahahahah.

Yeah, 4.1/4.2 behind a 124gr round nose is my standard USPSA load. Soft shooting, feeds well.

I'm not charging loads for my pcc. I don't need any velocity over 130 power factor.

I do. I know a pistol caliber out of a carbine is much more accurate to shoot at 100 yards for me at speed with irons or with a red dot... and the fact that I get the extra velocity from a 16" barrel compared to something like a G19... means the bullet has enough zip on it to perform better out there at 100 yards.

You get into calibers like .357 mag and .44 mag... you will see some performance and destruction approaching rifle rounds IMHO. YEAH the barrel matters.

I'm sure if you load up some BB 115 grain +P+ it is going to matter even more.

Around +15% is what I mathed for a few common loads from BBTI... and that is enough to make a difference IMHO.
