    Raddlock weak spring issue.

I got the AR Raddlock and it worked as advertised.

    BUT,........

On the non-California position, when I shoot at my buddy's in NV, the button sits loosely and the spring is weak. Seems to take only the slightest bump to actuate the button.

Is there a stronger secondary spring available?

I am assuming you mean the AR Raddlock. Since Raddlock mean so many things these days.

Turning the Screw Cap counter clockwise 4 revolution is a general recommendation.

Due to variety of lowers and inconsistancy of the LPK (especially the mag-catch stud) you can try 3 revolution instead of the 4 and etc... Also different magazine combination may have different result also. Find one setting that best fit your rifle.

Tried your suggestions above already prior to posting.

What I"m looking for is a source for a replacement spring that someone has already tried.

I know I can google "compression springs" and measure mine and find it.

I'm just wanting to see if someone already replaced it with a spring that they can refer a place they bought it from, i.e. Home Depot, and a part number, i.e.48487XX.

In that case, then you probably gotten a shorty mag-catch stud.......

If the mag-catch stud is shorter than normal, then you can probably use the AR Raddlock without the O-ring. This will give you another 1mm or almost 2 revolution on the Screw cap.

Just so you know the spring rebound is approximately 10lb. Which is very close to original spring pressure. You might want to double check any wear on the mags your are using or there maybe some problem with the mag-catch.

OK, thank you so much for your quickness in response.

          I appreciate it.

i am seeing this issue with my sig 556. It works fine in postition 1 but position 2 (out of state) doesn't seem to have enough tension. I removed the extra o ring as well. I think I will need to find a better spring.

            Edit:
This is how I fixed it. I put two springs in there. Not the AR/Sig 556 lenght one but two of the springs that come with the AR raddlock. Also, I used two o rings.
